Turkish side Trabzonspor are scouring the transfer market for players to augment their squad and push for European places.

The Turkish side with their transfer committee are looking at targets for the winter transfer window which opens in about a month's time.

Club President Ahmet Agaoglu and coach Unal Karaman are looking at players in the mode of Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban ,Nigerian international Anthony Nwakaeme and Alexander Sorloth.

The Scouting team is working on forgotten players playing in the lower leagues of major countries such as Germany, England, Italy, and African players who are prominent in leagues such as Israel, Croatia and Bulgaria.

Trabzonspor used a similar model in acquiring unltil his injury the prolific Caleb Ekuban from Championship side Leeds United.

The also signed Nigerian International Tony Nwakaemen who had shone in lower leagues playing for CFR Cluj,Turda,Ploiesti and in Israel for Hapoel Raanana and Hapoel Beer Sheva.

Anthony Nwakaeme shone at Trabzonspor since joining the Turkish side.

Meanwhile Alexander Sorloth who struggled at Crystal Palace has become a big hit in Turkey this season scoring 7 goals in 12 appearances while providing three assists.
