Turkish side Denizlispor have joined the race to sign out-of-contract Sivasspor defender John Boye this summer.

Newly promoted Altay Spor Kulübü have also made inquires for the experienced stopper who has been in the Ghana national team since 2008 and also has experience in the World Cup.

But Sivasspor are keen on retaining the services of the Black Stars defender who’s contract expires on 1st July, after helping them earn promotion to the top flight two seasons ago.

Despite being hit by a series of injuries in the course of this campaign, the Ghanaian still managed to prove his importance in the first team set up.

He helped Sivasspor to a seventh-place finish in the season with 49 points, winning 14 games, drawing 7 times and losing 13 matches.
