A young lady, believed to be a university student, met her untimely death after she and her boyfriend stabbed each other in a fit of rage at Adam Nana, a suburb of Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East constituency of the Central Region.
Information gathered by Kasapa News' Yaw Boagyan indicates that an informant called the lady to inform her about her boyfriend's infidelity with another woman.
Unwilling to share her lover, the deceased, reportedly seething with anger, hired an Okada rider to rush her to the boyfriend's house. Upon arrival, she confronted him over the cheating allegations, leading to a heated argument.
As tempers flared, the lady, who was armed with a knife, stabbed the boyfriend in the back of his neck, causing blood to gush from the wound.
He managed to overpower her, seized the knife, and stabbed her multiple times in the chest and neck, resulting in her death. The knife remained lodged in her neck as she passed away.
The police were notified of the incident, and officers were dispatched to transport the deceased to the morgue.
An investigation into the case has been initiated.
