A four-hour torrential rainfall in the Upper West region Friday has left over hundred residents homeless and many properties destroyed in the Wa municipality.

The massive rain flooded major parts of Wa and its surroundings causing panic among residents.

Meanwhile, the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) who got into action on time, according to reports, helped to rescue residents who were hit hard by the impact of the rains.

No casualty was recorded.
