Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, coach Prosper Nartey Ogum says that he is very happy that his side have managed to break the more than a decade jinx of not winning at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in Dormaa.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko finally exorcised the ghost that have haunted them at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in Dormaa on New Year's day as they recorded their first ever win in Dormaa.

The porcupine warriors inflicted a 2-0 defeat on Aduana Stars at the hitherto no go area in an entertaining game on New Year's day.

A first half header from Cameroonian International Georges Rodrigues Mfegue and a second half clincher from the in form Richmond Lamptey proved enough for the porcupine warriors.

Speaking after the game, Prosper Narteh says he is delighted with the performance of his boys and adds that he psyches his players about threats, intimidation before games.

"Very satisfied, is very joyous if you make history. This jinx has been there over the years and we’ve been able to break them. Kudos to the boys.

"As I told you before the game I told them that the threat, the intimidation, the fear outside the field will come but they need to stay focused and by the game plan and if you see the way we played we were very confident on the ball, we were very confident without the ball."

"We kept to our game plan keeping the ball on the turf, looking at the pocket of spaces and playing the ball through."

The porcupine warriors will next play against AshantiGold SC at the Baba Yara Stadium on Match day 12.
