Victoria Beckham is poised to get her biggest honor yet

According to The Daily Mail, the designer, fashion icon, and activist is reportedly in line to get an OBE from Queen Elizabeth II.

The OBE — which stands for Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire — is an honor doled out by the Queen for great local work, and Beckham will receive hers for her efforts both as a UNAIDS International Goodwill ambassador and her success in the fashion industry. Beckham, 42, has been a UNAIDS ambassador since September 2014 and has done quite a bit of work raising awareness as part of an initiative looking to stop new HIV infections in children. “As a woman and a mother, I have a responsibility to support other women,” she said of her involvement with UNAIDS.

Beyond her philanthropic endeavors, Beckham’s namesake label won her the coveted Designer Brand of the Year at the 2011 British Fashion Awards, and again in 2014.

Now she’ll have another honor to put on her mantle — right next to her husband David Beckham’s OBE, which he received in 2003.
