Thousands of Hearts of Oak supporters mobbed former coach Samuel Boadu on Sunday evening after they crushed out of the CAF Confederations Cup.
Hearts won 1-0 against AS Realm Bamako with Caleb Amankwaah the goalscorer but it was not enough to overturn the 3-0 loss in the first leg.
Former Hearts head coach Samuel Boadu was spotted at the Accra Sports Stadium ahead of his former side's CAF Confederations Cup second-leg clash against AS Real Bamako.
He is spotted in a video leading cheerleading duties as the popular 'hwie gu yen so' song was sung by the spectators.
The phobians suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat in Bamako- Maki and need at least 3-0 scoreline to push the game into penalties.
Hearts of oak hierarchy and the former coach on Tuesday 27th September 2022 mutually terminated their contract after a string of poor results.
Boadu took charge of the club halfway through the 2019/2020 season after departing Medeama where he was a coach and guided the team to their first major trophy in more than nine years as they won the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League.
During his 18-month stay with the phobians he won five trophies with Hearts of Oak.
That is the Ghana premier league title in 2020/2021 season, two FA Cup titles 2021 and 2022 and the Super Cup in 2021 and the President’s cup in 2022 .
