Struggling Ghana Premier League side, WAFA bounced back from their 1-0 loss to Asante Kotoko to beat Elmina Sharks 2-0 on Sunday.

The Academy boys scored in either half of the game to condemn the basement club to another defeat on the road. Justice Torsutsey converted from the spot in the 45th minute after Sampson Agyapong’s ball was handled by a Sharks defender.

The creator of the first goal scored the second for WAFA in the 51st minute – Agyapong collected a pass from Emmanuel Ofori Agyemang, entered the box before nutmegging Elmina Sharks goalkeeper Maxwell Adom for the second goal.

WAFA have now moved to the 15th position whiles Elmina Sharks are bottom of the pile.
