WAFA striker Justus Torsutsey  says he ready and prepared to play for Ghanaian Premier League giants Asante Kotoko ahead of the coming season.

The lanky striker has been linked with a move to Kumasi Asante Kotoko and he says it will be a dream come true to play for Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

His coach Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum has been strongly linked to replace Portuguese trainer Mariano Barreto and the player has been touted as a likely player for Asante Kotoko.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko had a season to forget as they failed to win the Ghana Premier League title and also reached the semi finals of the MTN FA Cup before they were dumped out of by Berekum Chelsea.

Speaking to ASH FM in Kumasi, the enterprising Military officer, has confirmed there has been an official approach from Kotoko and stated he is ever ready for that challenge picturing it as a move he's been looking forward to for so many years. He said;

"There’s been a formal approach from Kotoko for my service. It will be a dream move if I join Asante Kotoko and the Asanteman family,” he told Ashh FM in Kumasi.

“Every work is demanding and I’m ready to give out everything if everything is concluded.”

Justus Torsutsey, 29, joined WAFA prior to the commencement of the second round of the just ended GPL season as replacement for Daniel Lomotey who had left to join ES Setif in Algeria.

He scored six goals in 16 matches for WAFA as they finished in third position in the just ended season.
