WAFA wonder-kid Augustine Boakye made his first bow in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday against Liberty Professionals in the 3-1 win at the Karl Reindorf.

The youngster, who was promoted from the U16 side, replaced Justice Aaron Amate in the 61st minute.

He made an instant impact few minutes later, he was heavily involved in the second goal scored by Richard Danso in the 65th minute after Aminu Mohammed had scored to put the Academy lads ahead.

Charles Boateng scored the third to complete the rout before Bright Andoh grabbed a last minute consolation for the Scientific Soccer Lads.

The sogakope based side will be back in action on Wednesday when they host defending champions Aduana Stars in what promises to be a mouthwatering clash.
