The Ghana U-17 national team Black Starlets have inflicted a 3-0 defeat on nieghbours Togo at the ongoing 2022 WAFU Zone B U17 Championship at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Ghana has by this win booked a place in the semi finals of the competition as they were starring an exit in the face with any other results.

They lost their opening game against Nigeria by a whooping 4-2 which meant that they had to win their second game by all means if they wanted  to stay in the tournament.

Ghana controlled the game for most part of the first half but were unable to breach  the Togo back line  as they stood very strong at the back.

Things changed in the second half as Pius Adua opened the floodgates in the 54th minute to break the stubborn resistance from Togo.

Two more goals were added as the Black Starlets made what was a difficult game look easy with two more goals from Abdul Razak Salifu in the 77th minute and Collins Agyemang in the 80th minute to seal the emphatic win.
