Reports went haywire that Shatta Wale had met with the manager of Stonebwoy, Blakk Cedi, to smoke peace pipe with the artist.

Wale and Blakk Cedi were captured in a video hanging out together, and though Stonebwoy was not present, it was believed that the meeting was to settle the difference between the two artistes.

However, in a sharp rebuttal, Wale has said he never met with Blakk Cedi to smoke peace pipe with Stonebwoy.

According to him, he had gone to see a plot of land he wanted to buy for himself, when he saw Stonebwoy’s manager at the same location and they decided to take the video together.

Shatta Wale was said to have made this revelation in an interview with Abusua FM,

He was speaking in an interview relating to his ongoing media tour for his ‘Reign Album’ which is slated to be launched on October 13, 2018.

“I don’t know why people always want to believe things they see on social media. I went to the place to buy a land. You know my boss has started Zylofon properties. I want to buy a land from the boss of Zylofon properties Kofi Gold.”

“Stonebwoy’s manager, Blakk Cedi, was there and he requested that we take a picture together, we have not settled any difference,” Shatta Wale said.

From his statement, it seems the ‘Dancehall war’ between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy is not ending anytime soon.

The two have battled mostly on who deserves the title ‘Dancehall king’ of Ghana.

This battle has led Stonebwoy to conclude that he was lyrically and musically better than Shatta Wale.

Wale also threatened to murder Stonebwoy musically like he did to Samini.

In all these, fans and music lovers have waded into the controversy, with some of them giving reasons why they believe Stonebwoy is no match for Shatta Wale.

Recently, YEN.com.gh also published a report which pointing out reasons why Shatta Wale still rules as king of Dancehall music in Ghana.

Shatta Wale has also debunked rumours being spread by Stonebwoy that he accused him of killing his own mother.
