Want-away Hearts of Oak striker Kofi Kordzi is set for a show-down talks with the club's board of directors later this week amid speculations surrounding his future.

This comes following a series of media reports suggesting that the Accra based club have rejected a $250,000 bid from an unnamed club from the Gulf for the bulky striker.

The management of the club have openly debunked those reports, insisting that they will allow Kordzi should they receive the right offer.

But speaking to Kumasi based radio station for the first time, the Aveyime-born striker has revealed that there will be a meeting between his camp and the Phobian board in the coming days.

‘‘Hearts management has not told me they will not let me to leave the club for my new offer, the board is in constant negotiations with the agents.”- Kordzi said.

‘‘There will be a showdown talk with the board on Thursday” he concluded.

Kordzi's current contracted with Hearts of Oak  runs out in 2022.

The striker was the club's leading scorer with  six goals in 14 outings in the 2019-20 Ghana premier league which was cancelled  due to COVID-19 downturn.
