Popular Ghanaian celebrities and politicians showed up at the final funeral rite of the father of Ghana’s entertainment pundit and musician, Kwame A Plus.
Celebrities who showed up at the funeral included Piesie Esther, the president of the Ghana Journalist Association (GJA), Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, Nana Ama McBrown’s husband, Maxwell Mensah, and some Ghanaian actors.
Politicians from both the NPP and the NDC who graced the funeral include former trade and industry minister Alan Kyerematen, Sammi Awuku, and the national communication director of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi.
The funeral was held on September 23, 2023.
Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus announced the demise of his father on Thursday, July 13, 2023, on the social media platform Instagram with a picture of his dad who was well known as Dan.
