Captain of the senior national team, Andre Dede Ayew has admitted that the team is under intense pressure to deliver in their Afcon 2021 qualifier against the Bafana Bafana.

Ghana will cross swords with one time African Champions Bafana Bafana at the Cape Coast stadium on Thursday in the Afcon qualifier opener.

There is a dawn of a new era when it comes to the Ghana Football Association as the new FA have realised the passive attitude of Ghanaians towards the once adored Black Stars and have there launched a campaign dubbed #BringBackTheLove.

It is to ensure that the Black Stars are able to get massive support and the goodwill of Ghanaians they once enjoyed but has now eluded them.

The campaign is gradually gaining grounds as the team's stop overs at Mankesim and Winneba suggested that the Black Stars is a hot commodity and If packaged well Ghanaians will buy into it.

To consolidate the early gains the team is making a win against South Africa is non-negotiable as the team's captain admitted at the pre-match press conference held today.

"There is always a responsibility on us to make sure we make our country proud. We accept this responsibility. We won't always get it right but we are determined to be up there again," Ayew said at the pre-match press conference on Thursday.

Ghana will then travel to the Island of Sao Tome and Principe to play them in the second game of the Afcon 2021 qualifiers on the 17th November.
