The Camapign Manager for Kennedy Agyapong for President, Kwame Owusu, has admitted that his camp is paying money to induce delegates ahead of next week's NPP Congress to elect a new flagbearer.

In an interview with Citi FM, the Manager of Ken's Campaign said they have been paying money to woo delegates, an admission which appears to contradict his boss' claims, which accused other camps of rather paying money.

"Team Ken Agyapong is also inducing delegates with money, but we are doing it covertly," Kwame Owusu said.

"I can't deny the fact that we are also giving money. It is not bribe."

Last week, Kennedy Agyapong publicly accused the frontrunner of the NPP presidential primary, Vice President Bawumia of inducing some constituency chairmen with cars, a claim that has both been denied by the Vice President and a number of constituency chairmen.

Some constituency chairmen in the Northern Region angrily confronted Kenney Agyapong following the allegation, and Vice President Bawumia himself described the claim as baseless and ridiculous.
