Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Seydou says that the club can survive without the services of its Cameroonian striker Frank Mbella Etouga.

The striker who ended last season with 21 goals in the Ghana Premier League and was the club's top scorer is fit but has recused himself from the team as he agitates for a move away.

Kotoko fielded interest in their top marksman from a lot of clubs but the valuation of their prized asset was not met.

Since his return from pre-season, the goalkeeper has been agitating for a move to Egyptian side Al Masry as he forces his way out of the club.

Speaking ahead of the second leg clash against RC Kadiogo on Sunday the new gaffer says that he has heard Mbella is a good player but has not work in him as he believes those who played in the first leg can give him victory on Sunday.

“Asante Kotoko is a big club and if Mbella isn’t around, that doesn’t mean the club won’t be there. I heard he’s is an important player but I didn’t work with him but I believe those who won in Benin can equally step up for the club.” he said
