Kumasi Asante Kotoko held Aduana Stars to a goalless drawn game in their match day 27 clash at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa on Saturday.

The Dormaa based side who have been serially beating Kotoko failed to do it this time round as both sides settled for a 0-0 goalless draw.

Coach of Aduana Stars, Asare Bediako says that his side were unlucky and also failed to utilize the chances that came their way.

“I would say luck didn’t smile on us. I think it was a 50-50 game…We got the chances we couldn’t utilize them," he said after the game.

The coach revealed that they set up to contain some danger men in the Kotoko set up and it worked to perfection.

“We map up some strategy that if you don’t know football you would think they were dominating but we were just looking out for some individual players, (Salifu) Mudasiru and (Fabio) Gama.

"They are perfect players, good dribblers so we map up a strategy to break them down," he added.

The porcupine warriors who are still in the haunt for the league title will face Ashantigold in a landlord vs tenant contest on match day 28.
