Captain of the Black Stars Andre Dede Ayew is delighted with the team's performance thus far having won all their two matches so far in the qualifiers.

Ghana defeated African minnows Sao Tome and Principe by a lone goal after Jordan Ayew converted a 48th minute penalty meaning Ghana have amassed all six points in the two games played so far.

Speaking after the game the captain of the team could not hide his joy after they managed to beat a gritty Sao Tome side by a lone goal.

"I'm very happy and want to congratulate the boys for the victory today, camp has been brilliant and discipline has been perfect"

"Every plan that we have we executed it very well we have six points and no team in our group did that in this International week so that proves that we did something good"

"It's just the beginning we have six point now and we need to continue like this and I'm very happy and we hope to continue like that" he said.

Ghana will next play Sudan at home in 2020 when the qualifies comes up next.
