Accra Hearts of Oak winger, Daniel Afriyie Barnie says that the club is hoping to win the double this year with their sight firmly on the Ghana Premier League title and the MTN FA Cup.

The phobians currently lead the Ghana Premier League table with 53 points same points as second placed Asante Kotoko but with a better goal difference than Kotoko.

With five games to end the season the expectations is high with Hearts of Oak fans hopeful that they will end their nearly 12 year wait for a league title.

Hearts of Oak are also in the MTN FA Cup and will play Windy Professionals in the Round of 32 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Speaking ahead of the game, Barnieh has hinted the club is aiming to win the Premier League and the FA Cup.

“We are happy to be here but I am pleading with the supporters of Hearts of Oak to keep supporting us,” he said.

“We are aiming to win the Premier League and the FA Cup this season" he revealed.
