It was a limp display by the Black Stars on what was C.K Akonnor's first ever game as the coach of the senior men's national team.

A spineless Ghana side  lost to  a young Malian team in  an International friendly in  Antalya, Turkey on Friday in an embarrassing fashion with Ghana failing to even test the Malian goalie the entire 90 minutes.

Coach of the team who was making his debut as the Black Stars coach C.K Akonnor has blamed the defeat on the lack of organization from his side.

The coach speaking post game absolved the players of any blame and said his team lacked organization.

"I won't blame the players for the defeat but the key thing which resulted our loss to Mali was that the team was not organized," Akonnor told Adom TV

"The players didn't know themselves because most of them were debutants and even the first time they're playing together."

"We trained for only two days and there was lack of understanding as well. These are the few things which affected us during the game"

"Mali didn't play anything extraordinary but they were an organized side which handed them the victory"

The Black Stars will on Monday pit their strength againts Asian Champions Qatar at the Emir Hotel Sports Complex.
