Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Maxwell Konadu says his side must do a lot better than they did last night in their 1 nil triumph over Legon Cities.

The porcupine warriors recorded their first win of the season on Friday night after striker Ibrahim Osman give them an 11th minute goal that proved to be the winner.

In the second half of the game, the porcupine warriors laboured a lot as they were pegged back in their own half by Legon Cities.

But for the profligacy of Legon Cities striker Raphael Ocloo, it would have been a different story.

Speaking after the game Maxwell Konadu called on his charges to improve if they want to win the league title.

"It's is a difficult league and I know that we have to do much better if we want to win it."

"It's not easy but we can also agree with our strikers that they are, at least, scoring. Going forward, we need to work much harder to improve on our scoring rate." he added.

Kotoko will play against Great Olympics in their match day six Ghana Premier League game.
