Head coach of the Bafana Bafana of South Africa has called for time and patience in order to build a formidable team that can produce results.

Despite the euphoria of beating the Black Stars of Ghana last Monday, the Belgium trainer still believes a lot needs to be done in order to reach the desired level.

“We need time to build a team. The team has not yet reached the level that I expect. Let us focus on building a team first. We still have a lot of work to do and we need a little bit of time before we can start producing the results.” He said.

Bross who was appointed as replacement for the failed Ntseki Molefe has had two decent results in the two matches in the opening rounds of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

They picked up a point in Harare against Zimbabwe while also beating African giants Ghana at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

Currently South Africa is top of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in Group G ahead of Ghana and Ethiopia while Zimbabwe are rock bottom.
