The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said it wishes that the ruling New Patriotic Party’s flagship programme, the Free Senior High School programme will succeed in order that, they will have things easy when they assume the reins of governance in 2021.

The NDC which made the pronouncement at the National Annual Conference of the New Patriotic Party at the Accra International Trade Fair Centre said the success of the programme is the desire of the NDC and the generality of the Ghanaian people.

Led by former flagbearer hopeful of the NDC, Sylvester Mensah, the party declared its quest to see Ghana succeed and warned that the ruling government must be cautious of how things are panning out in terms of governance in the country.

The NDC’s solidarity message at the NPP conference painted a gloomy picture of the state of affairs in the country, emphasizing that the masses were reeling under serious suffering from the current NPP administration.

The NDC attracted large shouts of ‘’away’’ from conference participants at the Fantasy Dome of the Trade Fair Centre when it insinuated in the speech that the time of the NPP was over and that they will be kicked out of power in 2020.

Conference host, Anthony Karbo described the NDC solidarity message as ‘’incompetent speech’’ while co-host Lord Commey said ‘’the man (reference to Sylvester Mensah) is campaigning to be NDC running mate so please understand him’’
