Name: Sarvagya Sharma
Occupation: Student
Age: 21 years
Highest weight recorded: 149.5 kilos
Weight lost: 54 kilos
Duration it took me to lose weight: 1 year
The turning point: I was very disheartened when I was not able to fit into the clothes I liked. Getting clothes for my size was very difficult. It was then that I decided to lose weight.
My breakfast: I don't ever skip breakfast and would recommend people who are on a mission to lose the weight to do the same. I generally have boiled eggs excluding the yolk with a bowl of fresh fruits. With this, I have poha or upma which are both excellent options for a weight loss diet plan.
My lunch: 1 serving of rice with a bowl of dal or any seasonal vegetable and salad.
My dinner: I prefer to keep my dinner light and healthy. A bowl of oats, paneer and some salad is what I prefer.
My workout: I work out every day for one and a half hours, without fail. I keep on changing my exercise routine from time to time.
Low-calorie recipes I swear by: I just love paneer. So, any homemade dish made of paneer is my favourite.
Fitness secrets I unveiled: It is always important to have a well-balanced diet if a person wants to lose weight.
How do I stay motivated? My dream is to have a perfectly carved body with six pack abs.
How do you ensure you don’t lose focus? I have to appreciate my trainer for this. He ensures that I do not lose my focus and work hard to get a perfect body.
What’s the most difficult part of being overweight? I used to get tired very easily. Due to my weight, I was not able to do much of physical work.
What shape do you see yourself 10 years down the line? I just want to be in good shape and have perfect six-pack abs.

What are the lifestyle changes you made? I do not have junk food on regular basis and ensure that I get proper eight hours of sleep.

What was the lowest point for you? I was shattered when I lost my father. After that incident, I decided to lose weight.

Lessons learnt from weight loss: It is very important to stay healthy and fit. Both proper food and exercise make an important part of this.
