Renowned Sports journalist and former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Sannie Daara has urged Ghanaian Sports journalist to be patriotic about the affairs of the Black Stars and the Ghana Football Association and not bad mouth them.

He says most often than not Ghanaian Sports Journalist paint these two institutions in bad light to the rest of the world whiles they rather need to be ambassadors for the country Ghana.

After Ghana's 1-0 triumph over South Africa last Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium, the vanquished claims they were cheated and have since lodged a protest with FIFA over what they term match manipulation and match fixing among others.

According to the former BBC journalist he has incurred the wrath of very good South African friends since the penalty incident which the South Africans are crying foul about.

The revered journalist has written a short but deep piece advising Ghana Sports journalist to be ambassadors for the Black Stars and the Ghana Football Association instead of selling the soul of our motherland under the guise of fairness.

Ibrahim Sannie Writes:
