The Ghana football season will begin on the weekend of  November 13th -15th amidst the deadly coronavirus pandemic plaguing the world.

After more than six months hiatus, the Ghana Premier League and all other competitions returns in the middle of the month.

President of the Ghana football Association is looking forward to a positive and exciting season as he believes all clubs are preparing very well.

According to the GFA President, they want to show the world that football can help us win the fight against coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking in an interview on Hello FM, he declared that he expects a positive season where they will be lots of talents.

"We're starting football amid COVID-19. We want to show that football can help us win the battle against COVID-19. I think we are going to have an exciting season because the indicators are clear."

"All the clubs are ready for the big comeback of football. If you visit the clubs you will see that they are preparing for the commencement of the season."

"We're very positive for the upcoming season. We will see a lot of talents and the coaches too are working."he added.
