Hamburg defender Jan Gyamerah is happy with his side's resilience in their 1-1 draw game against Jahn Regensburg  on Sunday.

Hamburg have been having a poor run recently in the lower tier division of the German league losing their last two games against Darmstadt and Sandhausen.

The 25 year old was integral as his side earned a 1-1 draw against Jahn Regensburg and is happy with his sides strong mental fortitude despite their last two defeats.

"I think we have already proven many times this season that we can come back. We would have liked to have done without these setbacks, but we just have a great team spirit," he told magazine HSVlive.

"Already experienced differently with opposing teams"

"We've seen it differently with opposing teams this season. They insulted each other after making mistakes and pulled each other down. We don't have anything like that," he explained.

On possible promotion to the top-flight league, he said, "I would be really looking forward to the next: How we march together and celebrate together. That drives me incredibly,"
