The Genreal Manager of Aduana Stars, Takyi Arhin has brushed away rumours being peddled around that the club are doing business and trading the outcome of the matches in the Ghana Premier League.

He says the club is not using  their matches for betting as it is being claimed by some unscrupulous persons in the media space.

He added that they have sued a Sunyani based radio presenter for defamation as he has accused the team for match fixing.

"It's never true Aduana Stars is using it matches for betting, treat such news a hoax but we believe is a plan thing by sections of the media to defame Aduana Stars." he told Kumasi based Adehye FM.

"Aduana Stars is a traditional club and we respect our Supporters and the traditions of the club so the club will never do such thing and aside that FIFA frown against betting in football."

"We Aduana Stars have sued a Sunyani base Presenter accusing the club of using it matches for betting and are warning other presenters to stop making such accusations because we will not take it slightly with those media houses" he added.
