What to expect from Apple’s special event
Apple will use the event to reinvent itself as a services company as its iPhone sales continue to decline in its key markets. At its special event, Apple will take the wraps off a new video streaming service that will take on Netflix and Amazon. Dubbed as Apple TV, the platform will give users access to content from HBO and Starz among others.
Apple is expected to launch a news subscription service which will have access to 200 magazines and newspapers. The company will also introduce a new gaming subscription service which will allow users to play games from different studios with single monthly or annual payment.
