A member of the Ghana Football Association(GFA) legal team, Naa Odofoley Nettey in the case filed by Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer against the GFA at the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) says Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer can contest for the next GFA Presidential elections which will come off in 2023.

Despite losing his case against the GFA at CAS for what he termed unfair and unlawful treatment meted out to him by the GFA's Normalization Committee in disqualifying him from contesting the October 2019 GFA Elections.

According Naa Odofoley each candidate who files to contest the next GFA election will have to pass an integrity test and Palmer must make sure that he purges himself of any wrongdoings so as to qualify the next time.

"There's no reason why he can't stand in the next elections, as for that one I will say it for free" he told Oyerepa Fm in an interview.

"One thing is that every candidate will have to pass integrity test so this time when the answer is Yes ,he should tick Yes and explain and that's it and if he's in breach of any of the articles or regulations of the FA ,he should go and make sure that he has cleared those breaches and he will be free" he concluded.
