Medeama SC have vowed to beat Accra Hearts Of oak in their week two GPL encounter in Accra.
The PRO of the Tarkwa-based side, Patrick Akoto believes his side has got the needed mojo to outfox the Phobians on Sunday.
"We are ready and prepared for match against Hearts. The coach Evans Adotey and the entire management are prepared and even started in a good note by beating WAFA 1 nil," he said.
"We lost some couple of players, especially, Malik Akowuah ,Kwame Boahen ,and other players but there was a need to recruit another players to replace them."
So we brought in Eric Ofori Antwi from kotoko, justice Blay from division one side and some other good materials to carry us through."
Sunday's match between these two sides will be the 19th encounter and it is expected to be another test case for the Phobians who usually struggle to beat Medeama in Accra.
The rainbow boys failed to begin this season's campaign with a win when they played as guest of Inter Allies at the El-Wak stadium last Monday, and could vent their spleen on the Yellow and Mauve club.
However, Medeama have got the urge as previous meetings between these two clubs have gone in their favor and will be hoping to one up on the Phobians.
And for Patrick Akoto, Sunday offers another chance for Medeama to proclaim their Supremacy over the 20 times league Champions.
"We have good record against Hearts at Accra.They Know it and they know we will shock them on Sunday," he said.
Out of previous 18 meetings in the GPL, Medeama SC has won 8, with the Phobians wining 5 , and the remaining 5 ending in a draw.
