Yapei FC secures first win, Tamale City triumphs in derby, Liberty Youth held by Bofoakwa Tano

Yapei FC finally broke their winless streak with a well-deserved 2-0 victory over Victory Club Warriors at Jinapor Park.

Abdul Mumin Inus Musah opened the scoring with a brilliant goal in the 36th minute, and Mohammed Iddrisu added a second in the 52nd minute to ensure the win for Yapei FC, giving them much-needed momentum as they look to climb up the table.

At the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Tamale City showcased a dominant performance in their 3-0 win over rivals Real Tamale United. Abdul Aziz Adam stole the show with two first-half goals, netting in the 25th and 45th minutes.

In the second half, Abdul Basit Lamale added a spectacular third goal in the 69th minute to secure a comprehensive victory for Tamale City in this hotly contested derby.

Elsewhere in Zone One B, Liberty Youth drew 2-2 with former Premier League side Bofoakwa Tano in an action-packed match.

Francis Ameyaw gave Liberty Youth an early lead in the 2nd minute, and Koulibaly Andrews Fumi extended their advantage with a goal in the 51st minute.

However, Bofoakwa Tano made a dramatic comeback as Solomon Adu and Hamdan Abdul Malik scored within three minutes to level the match and share the spoils.

This weekend's matches were filled with thrilling moments, as Yapei FC grabbed their first win, Tamale City dominated their derby, and Bofoakwa Tano showed resilience in their spirited draw.
