Nsoatreman FC has swiftly appointed Yaw Preko as their new head coach, signing him on a two-year contract.

Preko steps into the role vacated by Maxwell Konadu, who recently departed to join South African second-tier side Black Leopards on a three-year deal.

Konadu, who guided Nsoatreman to their maiden MTN FA Cup triumph in the previous season, was originally set to lead the club into their debut CAF Confederation Cup campaign. However, both parties amicably agreed to part ways.

With confidence in their plans, Nsoatreman moved swiftly to secure Preko, a seasoned coach with a wealth of experience.

Preko, a former coach of Ghana's U-20 team, has previously managed clubs like Hearts of Oak and King Faisal, and most recently served at Medeama.

In addition to his new role, Preko will continue to coach the Ghana U-15 boys' national team, a position he has held previously.

Nsoatreman FC, buoyed by their historic FA Cup win and eager for success in African football, looks forward to what Preko can bring to the club.

His appointment marks a new chapter for the team as they prepare to make their mark on the continental stage.
