Ghanaian forward Yaw Yeboah has been rewarded for his fine form for his Polish side Wisla Krakow as he has been named in the Polish  Ekstraklasa Team of the Week following his assist in his side's win over Legia Warsaw on Sunday.

It was a home fixture for Wisla Krakow and they started in dominant fashion as they pressed the away side for the opener.

The forward was instrumental as he provided the assist for the only goal in the game which was scored by Felicio Brown Forbes in the 29th minute of the game.

It proved to be the winner of the game as the first half ended 1-0 in favour of the host.

Nothing changed in the second half as none of the two teams was able to add to the goals with Wisla Krakow ending the game with all three points.

Yaw Yeboah has now scored three goals in the Polish Ekstraklasa for his side Wisla Krakow while providing an assist in six matches for his side.

His performance has earned him a late call up to the Black Stars for the two matches in the 2022 World Cup qualifier against South Africa and Ethiopia next month.
