Ghanaian striker Benjamin Tetteh who plies his trade in Turkey has contracted COVID-19.

The 23 year old striker who currently plays for Turkish Super Lig side Yeni Malatyaspor has tested positive for coronavirus after the club's last round of testing conducted by medical staff of the club.

Tetteh has been in isolation since he tested positive for COVID-19 as he undergoes treatment.

He joined the club on loan from Czech side Sparta Prague and has been a key figure for his side in the Turkish Super Lig.

The lanky striker will miss his side league match on Wednesday against Buyuksehir.

Benjamin Tetteh has scored 2 goals in 14 appearances for Yeni Malatyaspor so far this season.
