Ghanaian-born Belgium International Francis Amuzu says that he can go far in the 2022 FIFA World Cup playing for Belgium than Ghana.

He also adds that Ghana has been calling his agent every day about the possibility of playing for the Black Stars.

Amuzu was born in Accra but currently holds a Belgium citizenship and plays for Belgium giants Anderlecht.

The 22 year old winger has been capped 14 times for the Belgium U-21 side scoring twice  but is yet to be capped by Belgium at the senior side.

Amuzu has been in and out of the Anderlecht squad failing to nail down a regular spot in Vincent Kompany's side.

He still has the option to choose to play for Ghana or the Red Devils.

The Ghana national team is very interested in the services of Francis Amuzu of RSC Anderlecht . “They call my broker every day, but I keep it off,” Amuzu is clear in Het Nieuwsblad.

“Look, I was born in Ghana and when I'm there, I feel at home there because of the African atmosphere. My sporty heart lies with Belgium. With Belgium you can go very far at such a World Cup, with Ghana there is a real chance that you will be out quickly.”

A transfer abroad might increase his chances of playing for the Red Devils. “I have a career plan and we'll see. I had hoped that I would already have more playing minutes at Anderlecht , but then I also have to show myself.”
