Former Ghana youth star and Monaco player Eric Ayiah says that it is impossible to work with one of the world's famous player agents Jorge Mendes if you are a lazy player.

He says the Portuguese player representative has been of immense help to his young career since joining his stables.

Speaking to Sportsworldghana.com, Eyiah disclosed it is not easy working with one of the top football agents in the world but said he draws inspiration from him to push harder every time.

“It is not an easy thing working with someone like Jorge Mendes.” He said.

“Personally, I feel motivated and pushed to work had anytime I recall that I have someone like him as my agent. You can’t be a lazy person and expect the best from him; It’s impossible.”

He was the star of the Ghana's Black Starlets team at the Africa U17 Cup of Nations in Gabon and the Fifa U17 World Cup in India where he shone.

The Ghanaian youngster signed for the French side on a five year deal in 2017 from Charity Stars after excelling at the U-17 Africa and World Youth Championship.

Ayiah finished as the second top scorer for Ghana at the AFCON U-17 tournament with four goals.

Five months later in India, he scored three times to propel the Black Starlets to the quarter-final of the World Cup.

Since joining Monaco, the Ghanaian prodigy is yet to break into the first team but claims he has no regrets joining the French giants.
