Multiple award winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie made history on Saturday October, 5 when he became the first ever artiste to win the Best Int'l Flow at the BET Hip Hop awards.

The rapper who was nominated alongside Falz (Nigeria), Ghetts (U.K.), Kalash (France), Lil Simz (U.K.), Nasty C (South Africa), Tory Lanez (Canada) beat stiff competition to walk with the award.

His wife, Ewurama Tracy who couldn't hold back her happiness took to her Twitter page to celebrate her partner.

Sarkodie who dedicated the award to his daughter, Adalyn Owusu Addo (Titi) in his acceptance speech urged the audience to visit Ghana as part of the Year of Return celebrations.

“I just want to say thank you to the Almighty God. To family, this one is for my lil girl Titi…. I think Africa has always had it and it is about that time. This year is the Year of Return and I will urge each and every one of you here to take a trip back home.”
