Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has shared an emotional farewell message to his Crystal Palace manager, Roy Hodgson who will in the summer retire from football after more than four decades as a coach.

The striker was signed by the Englishman for Palace from Swansea City on a three-year deal at the start of the 2019 season, following the forward’s season-long loan spell with the south London club in 2017/2018 season.

Hodgson has been in charge of Palace since September 2017.

His final home game was be against Arsenal and his last match was 2-0 loss at Liverpool, one of his former clubs, at Anfield last Sunday.
The Ghanaian striker who enjoyed his time with the English said he was thankful for the believe he had in him especially in his first year.

"Thank you for everything over the last few years Boss, especially for believing in me after a tough first season. You will be missed & I wish you the best for the future - You deserve it" he tweeted.
