Former Aduana Stars attacker Zakaria Mumuni has rubished reports that he has signed for Ghana Premier League side Kumasi Asante Kotoko ahead of the opening of the second round transfer window.

The creative player is now a free agent after recently parting ways with Congolese side AS Vita club.

Report is rife in the local media of the player signing a two year deal with the porcupine warriors something which he has vehemently denied.

The player has admitted his management is in talks with Kumasi Asante but as at now nothing concrete has been agreed on between both parties.

He made this revelation in an interview with footballmadeinghana, where he expressed his outmost surprise at the news of him signing fir Kotoko.

“It’s not true. Nothing has been agreed,” he said.

“I’m aware my manager is in talks with Kotoko but I have not signed for them yet. I don’t know where the news is coming from,” he added.

Zakaria Mumuni began his career with WAFA and rose through the ranks to captian the team before moving on to pastures anew with Aduana Stars where he won the Ghana Premier League title in 2017.

He later joined Congolese side AS Vita club where he starred for them in the domestic league and continental games.

The free agent is fielding countless offers from both domestic and international clubs and may not even sign for the porcupine warriors.
