Wa Power SC continued their resurgence with a thrilling 2-1 victory over Northern City at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.

After a goalless first half, Israel Iddrisu broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute. Osman Zakaria provided late drama with an equalizer in the 90th minute, but Nafiu Musah sealed the win for Wa Power SC just two minutes later, securing their third consecutive victory.

In Zone One B, Techiman Eleven Wonders cruised to a dominant 3-0 win over struggling rivals Techiman Heroes at the Ohene Ameyaw Park.

Kenneth Boakye Owusu opened the scoring as early as the 6th minute, while Frank Awere (44') and Amos Opoku Annor (45') added to the tally, condemning Heroes to their fourth consecutive defeat. The victory cements Eleven Wonders' bid for a strong finish in Zone One B.

Meanwhile, the Tamale derby between Real Tamale United (RTU) and Tamale City ended in a fiercely contested 1-1 draw on Sunday.

Sheriff Salifu struck early for Tamale City in the 12th minute, but Abdul Rashid equalized for league leaders RTU in the 47th minute, ensuring the points were shared.

Despite the draw, RTU remains atop the Zone One standings.
