Ghanaian forward Zuberu Sharani had a memorable moment following Slovan Bratislava's UEFA Champions League clash against Manchester City, as he met his favorite striker, Erling Haaland.

Sharani made his debut in the prestigious competition during the match, coming on in the second half of Slovan's 4-0 defeat to the English champions.

Despite the loss, the former Ghana U20 striker seized the opportunity to meet Haaland, whom he has admired from a distance for some time, after the game at Tehelne Pole.

In this encounter, Haaland scored one of the four goals, contributing to Manchester City's dominant performance alongside Ilkay Gundogan, Phil Foden, and James McAtee.

This victory marked City’s first win in the revamped UEFA Champions League format.

Currently, Slovan Bratislava is still searching for their first point in the tournament, having suffered defeats against Celtic and Manchester City.

They will next face Girona as they look to turn their fortunes around in the European competition.

Although Sharani has yet to score in the league this season after three appearances, he did find the net in the Slovnaft Cup, where he has made one appearance.
