Happy 53rd birthday ya’ll!


Following decades of British colonial rule, Kenya gained its full independence on December 12, 1963. During the ceremony, the town key of Nairobi was handed over and Jomo Kenyatta, the leader of Kenya African National Union (KANU) was then sworn in as the prime minister.
