Phil-Manuel Kpobi, a 12-year-old student of Sterling International School and proud member of Ghana Code Club, has been awarded the “Favorite Project” prize in the Mobile Apps category at Coolest Projects Ghana 2025.
His award-winning creation is a groundbreaking Agro App, developed using the Python-based Flet framework, aimed at solving critical challenges in Ghana’s agricultural sector.
The app connects farmers directly with buyers, helping to reduce post-harvest losses, improve access to markets, and promote fair pricing for both farmers and traders.
Among its standout features are:
- Real-time messaging between farmers and buyers
- Order and delivery tracking
- Integrated mobile money payments
- Photo uploads for marketing produce
Phil-Manuel’s innovation has drawn praise from across the tech community. Ghana Code Club hailed his achievement as a powerful display of youth-led ingenuity, stating:
