Yes it was a Thursday. Yes it was working day and yes the AFRIMA Music Villageconcert held on November 22 at the Independence Square jammed to the max.

The well attended event which attracted people from all walks of life featured various artistes from across Africa who set the venue ablaze with sizzling hot performances sending patrons into a frenzy most part of the night.

One after the other, the artistes mounted the stage and distruibuted thrills to fans who have gathered to see some of their idols up close and personal for the very first time.

And from the thunderous shouts that greeted some of the acts, it was obvious patrons had a very good time.

Some of the musicians who performed were Mister P of P Square fame, Nasty C, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Harrysong, Feli Nuna, Guru, Tinny among others.

Although some up and coming acts such as rapper Dem Tinz, Qweccy Plus delighted patrons earlier, the showkicked off properly at 10:00pm with Mister P and of course he did not fail to serve the crowd with most of his hits songs and dance skills.

The president of Sarknation, rapper Sarkodie did not drop the baton when got on stage. He put up one of the best performances at the concert.

Sarkodie performed hits songs like Original,U Go kill me, Megye wo Girl',Give It To Me,Pizza and Burger which got the crowd singing along with him.

Other performers such as Nasty C, Harrysong, Feli Nuna and the rest were also a force to reckon with. They got patrons singing along and dancing to their songs through out the night.

In the early hours of Friday morning, Stonebwoy took his turn at the concert and brought the curtains down on the show leaving the crowd excited and asking for more.

For about an hour, he fed patrons nourishing perfomances with his songs— Pull Up, Most Original, Pepper Dem, Bawasaba and Mightelele.

AFRIMA Music Village, is a festival-style music concert which formed part of a string of activities marking the 5th All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) which is being hosted by Ghana.

Tomorrow, November 24, the main awards ceremony will come off at the Accra International Conference Centre(AICC).
