Samuel Owusu could be handed his full Ghana debut against Cameroon in the ongoing 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The Čukarički ace showed promise on his first appearance as a substitute in the country’s 2-2 draw against Benin in the group F opener on Tuesday.

Although his cameo was short-lived after he was withdrawn for tactical reasons following a red card to defender John Boye, the 23 year old prodigy has earned coach Kwesi Appiah’s trust.

The Serbia-based winger is set to replace the injured Thomas Agyepong in the starting line-up for the mouthwatering encounter against the defending champions Cameroon.

Ghana will face the Indomitable Lions on Saturday at 5pm at the Ismailia Stadium whilst Benin lock horns with Guinea Bissau in the other group game later at the same venue.
