The Sekyere Central Directorate of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has extended its sensitisation on the 2021 Population and Housing Census (PHC) to the Nsuta Traditional Council.

The sensitisation has become necessary following the call on every person living in Ghana on or before June 27 (Census night) to be counted.

On behalf of Nsutahene, the chief of Adako Jachie welcomed the NCCE team as they sensitized the chiefs, queen mothers and the elders in the council on the upcoming 2021 PHC exercise.

The Traditional Council had its share of the Education when the team led by Gordon Yeboah Opoku (DD) paid them a visit.

Other team members were Michael Benefor Ofori (SCEO), Georgina Amoako (CEO) and Samuel Heinz Tuffour- Bio (ACEO).

The 2021 Population and Housing Census has already begun as enumerators are done with the listing of structures.

The has for the past weeks been sensitizing communities within the District on the event.

These enumerators will from June 28 to July 11 move into homes of the populace to give them a headcount. Anybody who spends the night of 27th June (Census Night) in the country whether citizen or foreigner ought to be counted.
