The Black Stars of Ghana will regroup in Accra on Monday, September 1, to begin preparations for the next round of matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana faces a crucial double-header in Group I, with fixtures against Chad and Mali that could prove decisive in the race to secure a ticket to next year’s tournament in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
According to a notice from the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the team will hold training sessions at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday and Tuesday before departing for N’Djamena on Tuesday evening.
The Matchday 7 clash against Chad is scheduled for Thursday, September 4, at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno.
Following that encounter, the Black Stars will return to Accra to prepare for the showdown with Mali, which will be played on Monday, September 8 at the Accra Sports Stadium, kicking off at 7:00 pm.
With qualification hopes on the line, Ghana will be aiming for maximum points from the two matches to take a huge step towards securing their place at the 2026 World Cup.
