Brandon Thomas-Asante, Coventry City forward, has reiterated his desire to play a decisive role for the Black Stars as Ghana prepares for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The 25-year-old made his debut in October 2024 and has since earned seven caps, scoring once. Despite not yet commanding a regular starting spot, Thomas-Asante insists he wants to be more than just a squad player.
“For me, I want to be successful with the Black Stars. I don’t just want to be a squad player; I want to contribute goals, assists, and help this nation win trophies. We know the expectations are high, and we’re ready to meet them,” he told PFA.
